They are also qualified representatives before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Furthermore, the patent attorneys Dr.-Ing. Alexander BAYER and Dr. Cornelius FABER are also authorised representatives before the European Patent Office (European Patent Attorneys), members of the epi (Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office) and authorised to represent clients before the Unified Patent Court (EPG).

The professional regulations for German patent attorneys set out in the Patent Attorney Code (BGBI. I 1966, p. 557, last amended by BGBI. I 2001, p. 3656) and in the Code of Conduct for Patent Attorneys, published in the Communications of Patent Attorneys 2014, p. 53 ff. Insofar as the professional regulations for representatives admitted before the European Patent Office are concerned, reference is made to the epi Code of Professional Conduct (epi-Information 2/2001, p. 75). Furthermore, the FICPI Code of Ethics applies (ficpi.org).
