Jonas NORPOTH graduated from the Institute of Materials Physics at the University of Göttingen, after which he spent 10 years working in R&D in both academic and industrial settings, including as a project manager at the interdisciplinary Austrian Centre of Competence for Tribology near Vienna. His specialist areas of expertise lie in particular in solid-state physics, materials science, coating technology and tribology.

Mr NORPOTH has been working in intellectual property law since 2017 and was admitted to the patent bar in 2023.
